Meet the Team

At NOVEL River District, we believe a home is more than just a place, it’s a warm embrace of community, character, and connection. Let us introduce you to the friendly faces dedicated to bringing your experience to life.

Community Director

Ally

With a passion for leadership, community, and adventure, Ally is proud to serve as Community Director at NOVEL River District. An avid runner, she enjoys training for and participating in half marathons and is a founding member of the Multi-Milers Run Club—always ready to encourage others to chase their next personal best. When she’s not on the move, you’ll likely find her snowboarding, hiking, or traveling in search of the next great adventure.
A self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie, her favorite local spot is the U.S. National Whitewater Center, where she loves whitewater rafting, hiking, rock climbing, and tackling the ropes courses. She’s also a frequent visitor to Carowinds, where roller coasters and thrill rides are a must. What she loves most about the River District area is the perfect balance of outdoor adventure, community connection, and energy—making it an incredible place to call home and create a welcoming, vibrant community for residents.

Leasing Manager

Jamani

A Newark, New Jersey native who brings both heart and precision to the NOVEL River District team. Known as the “4-1-1 girl,” (which is ironically also her birthday), Jamani has a sharp ability to visualize, track, and remember details—always knowing the how much, how many, where, and when to keep operations running smoothly. Her strong work ethic and genuine passion for helping people make her a trusted resource for residents and teammates alike.

Outside of work, Jamani loves expressing herself through music and dancing, unwinding with a good book on her balcony, and embracing her favorite color—pink—as a reflection of her vibrant personality and it’s not a color to her, it’s a lifestyle. An avid solo traveler, she has explored over 20 U.S. states and 5 countries, with plans to add even more to the list this year.

Having lived and worked exclusively on this side of Charlotte, Jamani brings firsthand knowledge of the River District and Berewick areas—from the best places to eat and explore to the neighborhoods that truly feel like home. Stepping into her Leasing Manager role was a very intentional move, as she begins the next chapter of her professional journey focused on lease-ups and continued growth, while proudly serving as both the eyes and ears of the community.
